We are going back by popular demand to the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina! We are packing up and heading for the hills for a truly blessed time of fun, fellowship, relaxation and ministry. So come and join other Christian Singles from all over the US.
If you are new to A Matter of the Heart events come and make some new friends or if you are a past participant, come and reconnect with old friends.
Come and join Christian singles from all over the US & the world as we set off for a fun filled adventure. We will have singles from many backgrounds, denominations, ages, & races come together in unity to have fun, fellowship, and ministry. If you have ever experienced an A Matter of the Heart event, you will know why so many people are excited about coming back again and again.
This event has something for everyone. If you love the outdoors, there’s hiking, rafting, horseback riding, fishing, swimming and much more. We will visit some local swimming holes as well. For those who want to shop, there are some quaint shops in town or you can drive into Asheville approximately 40 minutes away, where there are many shops and an outlet mall, as well as the famous Biltmore House. There are packages for rafting and horseback riding or you can just book a room and relax and even book a relaxing massage. Massage prices start at $65.00 per hr. |

Lorilee Scott has been actively involved in singles ministries in both Florida and North Carolina for over twelve years. The Lord has called her to ministry, organizing singles ministry events for many different groups around our country that instruct people on how to live a complete joy filled life. The goal of her ministry is that each person who attends an event, will leave with a renewed vision and a new hope for the future. As well as being the founder and steward to her ministry, "A Matter of the Heart," Lorilee is currently the Director of Singles for the Raleigh Baptist Association. Being single herself, she knows the unique struggles & challenges that singles encounter. Along with doing speaking engagements, she is the author of "The Friendship Factor - Do You Know the Equation?" |

PACKAGE PRICES INCLUDE: Accommodation, taxes, full day (5 hrs.) whitewater rafting with lunch on the river, or 2 hrs.of horseback riding, 1 hour in the mineral spa hot tub with the group, and a towel is provided at the hot tub. Triple occupancy:1 double bed & bunk bed set: Each person has their own bed.
Quad occupancy: 1 double bed & bunk bed set: 2 people will share a bed and 2 will have their own beds.
Cottage #6 Bed Configuration:
Quad: 2 double beds: Each person will share a bed.
Triple: 2 double beds & one twin bed: Each person will have their own bed.
Cottage #7 Bed Configuration:
Double: 2 beds,1 queen & a twin: Each person will have their own bed.
Triple: 2 beds,1 queen & a twin bed: Two people willshare the queen and one person will have the twin.
Single occupancy: You will have your own room.
Please note in order to keep the cost down we are staying at either cottages or motels which are very basic. They have air conditioning and heat and TV’s. If you want a more expensive accommodation, there is an inn that is located near by, just let me know and I can check for availability and prices.
The above rates are based on a 15 person minimum group rate. If the group number should drop below the minimum number required, there will be a slight increase in the rates.
